Hastelloy C-22 is almighty nickel - chromium - molybdenum - tungsten alloy, and have an overall better corrosion resistance than other existing nickel chromium molybdenum alloy, Hastelloy C-276, C4 alloy and alloy 625. HASTELLOY C-22 has good resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. It has excellent antioxidant capacity, including wet chlorine, nitric acid or mixed acid containing chloride ions. At the same time, the ability of HASTELLOY C-22 in the process of reducing and oxidizing environment is also an ideal process. Rely on this universal performance, it can be used in some of the headaches of the environment, or in a variety of manufacturing plants in the application. Hastelloy C-22 to various chemical environment has unusual ability to resist, including strong oxidizing substances, such as ferric chloride, copper chloride, chlorine, thermal pollution solution (organic and inorganic), formic acid, acetic acid, acetic anhydride, water and salt solution. HASTELLOY C-22 has the ability to resist the grain boundary precipitation in the welding heat affected zone, so that it can be used in many chemical processes in the welding state.
Application Field
HASTELLOY C-22 have been widely used in the chemical and petrochemical fields, such as the application of the component and catalytic system in the contact with the organic compounds. This material is especially suitable for use in high temperature, mixed with inorganic acid and organic acid (such as formic acid and acetic acid), seawater corrosion environment.
